NP Racing sign Superbike rookie Thomson for 2026 campaign

· Source: BritishSuperbike.com

NP Racing has announced the signing of Connor Thomson for the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship, giving the 23-year-old from Surrey his full-time debut in the premier class. Thomson is not entirely unknown to the team or the paddock — he wildcarded for NP Racing at the 2024 Brands Hatch season finale, an outing that clearly left an impression on the squad.

Thomson described the signing as the culmination of years of work. "Getting to be on the Superbike grid for my debut season in BSB is a moment I've worked towards for so many years," he said.

Team principal Neil Pearson pointed directly back to that 2024 wildcard as the reason the team wanted Thomson on the books for a full campaign. "When Connor wildcarded for the team in 2024, he showed grit and determination," Pearson said. "I am pleased to welcome him back."

With his rookie Superbike season now confirmed, Thomson joins the NP Racing line-up for the 2026 campaign alongside his new teammates, taking the step up from wildcard appearances to a full-time seat on the grid.
